How to use phplist split-testing automation plugin:
1. Create two or more email messages. Save as draft messages.
2. Create a list. Add email addresses.
3. Open the Split-Test plugin and click the ‘create new’ button.
4. Select two or more messages that you wish to test against each other (screenshot below).
5. Select the list you wish to send the email to (the plugin will automatically randomize the list).
6. Save and Send.
7. Select ‘Reports’ link from within the Split-Test plugin to view test results (screenshot below).

How to use phplist split-testing automation plugin:

This custom-code for phplist adds user to a new list if they click a specific link on your webpage. This is not a plugin, rather pre-written php code that you add to your webpage. It is particularly useful in conjunction with the Autoresponder… E.g. user clicks link on webpage, thus indicating interest. Your system then immediately follows-up with additional information on that subject.
How to use the Page Link Trigger:
1. Create a new list in PHPlist.
2. Create a new form in PHPlist, which will add users to your new list (above).
3. Add the custom code to your webpage and specify which link(s) you would like to use as a trigger (unlimited links per page).
4. User responds to your email and visits your webpage.
5. User clicks link on webpage.
6. User is automatically added to new list. Autoresponder may be optionally triggered. In any case, data is saved to mark that user as having shown interest in that particular product, which is useful for future marketing efforts and also may be used as part of lead-scoring process.
